Essential oils are derived from aromatic plants. Essential oils have unique odor, taste, color and appearance and they are essential mixtures. Fixed oils are the storage material in plants and are obtained from the seeds, kernels and fruits of the plant. Insoluble in water. They are usually produced by cold press or hot press method. For the hot press method,the plant part is first roasted by heat treatment and then pressed. With this method, more oil is derived from the plant. However, most of the vitamins, minerals and other health-promoting substances in the fat disappear.
